Facing a shortage of accommodation and recent changes in parking regulations, the client sought to optimize their property and existing structure to accommodate their growing family while also creating a future source of retirement income. In response, my company developed a tailored solution designed to perfectly meet their needs. The Granny Flat require building consent and deem permitted activity/resource consent due to building right to the boundary .

Feasibility Study- Proposed MDRS Townhouses , adding 2 at the back of the vacant section-2024
Development Brief:
The client aims to develop the vacant portion of the land by adding two additional townhouses with on-street parking. Since the proposed development exceeds the MDRS permitted activity baseline of three townhouses, a resource consent application will be required. The project is currently in the conceptual feasibility development stage.
